Te Ngaru Hou 2010 features new work by indigenous contemporary dance artists. Vicki Van Hout is an aboriginal dancer based in Sydney and Louise Potiki-Bryant and Rachel Ruckstuhl-Mann are both Ngai Tahu. Te Ngaru Hou is hosted by Kati Huirapa ki Pukeraki at their beautiful marae in Karitane. The audience to each show will be welcomed formally onto the marae with a powhiri.
